日本DENAN法将产品分为A，B两大类，制造商有义务保存测试结果和证明：
A类：的电气设备和材料产品。
标签上有菱形PSE 标志。特殊电气用品及材料类，由授权评估单位来强制性三者验证。厂商取得符合性证明书后才能贴上菱形PSE标志，进口商或制造商须书面通报METI。
B类：其他的电气设备和材料证明
标签上有圆形的PSE 标志。非特殊电气用品及材料类制造商若根据电安法的安全要求，保证产品之安全结构者，即可自行帖上圆形PSE标志，进口商或制造商须书面通报METI。
